How It Works

find is the standard Unix utility for searching files and directories by criteria like name, type, size, and modification time. fd is a modern, faster alternative with simpler syntax and smart defaults.

Safe Mode

When safe mode is enabled and a destructive action (delete or exec) is selected, the tool generates a two-step command: first a dry-run preview to inspect matches, then the actual command. This helps prevent accidental data loss.
